Kogi state governor Usman Ododo says his administration remains determined to rebound the economy of the State by investing heavily in agriculture and other sectors that would impact directly and immediately on the livelihood of the people of Kogi State.
Governor Ododo gave the assurance during the swearing in of two new Commissioner in his cabinet on Wednesday at the government house Lokoja.
The two new commissioners are Helen Aderibigbe who is to oversee activities in the Innovation, Science and Technology ministry and Atuluku Victor Levi, who is taking over the Transportation ministry.

Governor Ododo advised the two new commissioners and other members of the state Executive Council to be alive to their respective roles and ensure that the confidence reposed in them by the people was duly justified.

Helen Aderibigbe on behalf of his colleagues thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve and promised that they would do all within their capacity to help achieve the administration’s goals.
Governor Ododo assured the people that his Renewed New Direction Agenda would ensure completion of the legacy projects of the immediate past administration and initiate new ones to make life better for everybody.
