In its renewed effort to eradicate Covid-19 in Nigeria, the Federal Government has undertaken to construct solar water schemes and sanitation facilities in parts of the country.
Commissioning the projects on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari in Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodinnma commended the Federal Government’s efforts to protect citizens against the pandemic.
The people of Nkwo Oji in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State have been without potable water supply until this intervention by the Federal government.
The project is to improve access to safe water supply and hygiene, and also ensure constant washing of hands with soap.

Governor Uzodinma has in the last couple of weeks embarked on rehabilitation of 46 road projects in fulfilment of his election promise to the people of the state.
