The Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has reiterated his call for a review of the revenue sharing formula of thirteen percent derivation to the oil-producing states in the country.
This he said was necessary in the bid to curb criminality in the oil industry in the Niger Delta Region, as he played host to the new commander of the Joint Task Force “Operation Delta Safe, Rear Admiral Aminu Hassan in Yenagoa.

Governor Diri then, called for harmonious working relationship with all security Chiefs, to build a strong security architecture,
Capable of protecting the oil and gas facilities and the people of the region.
In his remarks, the New JTF boss is optimistic that with team work and professionalism, the taskforce will do its best for the economic activities to strive in the state.
