The Kano State Government, in collaboration with partners, have conducted a free eye surgery for 500 cataract patients and free eye screening in the state.
The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran, shortly after inspecting the exercise at Sir Muhammad Sunusi General Hospital, described it as successful and a big relief.

The exercise will continue until the targeted number is reached.
