The Akwa Ibom State Government has donated fifty hectares of land to the Federal Housing Authority for the Diaspora Home Project initiative of President Bola Tinubu.
Governor Eno made this known when he received in audience a delegation from the Federal Housing Authority at Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.
The delegation from the Federal Housing Authority, FHA which was led by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Oyetunde Ojo received a warm welcome from Governor Umo Eno.
Eno told them that the state government was ready to partner with the authority to achieve President Bola Tinubu’s housing programme.
The ManagingDirector/Chief Executive Officer of the Authority , Oyetunde Ojo commended the Governor for providing the necessary support for the project and assured that the authority will collaborate with the state government to deliver the project.
According to the Akwa Ibom State Chief Executive, the Diaspora Home Project will complement the ARISE Shelter Initiative , which is aimed at providing homes for all.
