The Nigerian Army has reiterated its commitment towards providing quality leadership and practically oriented training support, required to enhanced troops’ performance, for the effective and professional fight, against insecurity in the country.
The commitment was made by the Chief of Army Staff, during the closing ceremony of Combat Arms Training Week 2021, held in Bauchi State, Northeast Nigeria.
The One-week military event, was rounded off with the display of armoured fighting vehicles, as well as physical combat arms demonstrations by the participants.
The Chief of Army Staff, represented by the Chief of Training, Nigerian Army Headquarters, Major General Okwudili Azinka, said the forum has provided an avenue, for the troops to rate their performances, on the ongoing operations, discussing contemporary issues, as well as developing strategies for the way forward, in tackling the insecurity across the nation.

Major General Azinka, said the knowledge acquired during the training, when put into use, will no doubt help the army achieve more successes, in their ongoing operations.
The theme for this year’s event is, “Capacity Building in Combat Arms: A Prerequisite for Contemporary Security Challenges”.
