Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed says his administration would continue to leverage on foreign and domestic interventions to facilitate execution of more development projects across all critical sectors of the state’s economy.
He stated that while receiving a joint team for the implementation of Agro Processing Zone Phase II initiative at the Government House in Bauchi, North-East Nigeria
After the pilot project on Agro Processing Zone programme supported by the African Development Bank, AfDB in seven other states, a delegation led by the co-task team leader, Dr. Bashir Gaya was in Bauchi State to assess its readiness to key into the second phase of the project through feasibility and environmental study.
Governor Mohammed who applauded the initiative said the state is committed to be part of benefiting states towards harnessing its full potentials in areas of abandoned natural and agricultural resources to create job opportunities for the teaming unemployed youths.
He therefore charged heads of relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies to avail themselves of the opportunity for the state to benefit from the AfDB initiative
The Governor assured that his administration is commitment in supporting policies and programmes that would better the lives of the citizens.
