Some group of youths on Saturday staged a Peaceful Democracy day Protest in Akure,Ondo state capital.
The youths in their hundred, armed with various inscriptions occupyed major roads in protest against bad governance, kidnapping, banditry, unemployment and the high price of commodities.
The protesters matched round Akure metropolis including the popular Oba Adesida Road, Arakale, Ondo road, Nepa, Hospital and Oyemekun.
The capital city of Ondo state did not record influx of both human and vehicular movements while shops and business ventures were under lock and key.

The protesters said their protest is not about seccession but are demanding for good governance and a better Nigeria.
They called on all stakeholders to live up to their responsibilities to bring the needed change to the nation.
