Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reiterated his administration’s commitment to the execution of various policies and programmes that would better the lives of the citizens of the state.
Governor Mohammed gave this indication when he signed into law six executive bills passed by the State House of Assembly at the Government House in Bauchi State, North-East Nigeria.
Presenting the bills to the Bauchi State Governor for his assent, the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Sulaiman, accompanied by members of the assembly, said the bills were carefully scrutinised and passed after all the legislative processes for the overall benefit of the state.

Assenting to the bills, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed said all the laws are relevant to societal reorientation, growth, and economic development, among others, and that when properly implemented, they would address many challenges affecting the state and its citizens.
The governor applauded the cordial working relationship between the executive and the legislative arm of government, assuring his administration’s support for sustainable growth and development of the state and its citizens.
Among the bills signed into law are the Saadu Zungur University Law 2024, the Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Board Law 2023, and the Farmers Headers Board Law, among others.
