The Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, has urged the people of the Niger Delta region to support President Bola Tinubu’s renewed Hope Agenda to attract more projects to the region.
The managing director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku stated this when members of the Ijaw youth Council, IYC, visited the commission’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, in commemoration of the role played by the Late Adaka Boro for a better Niger Delta Region.
He said the Boro Day celebration should be a sober reflection on the struggle for a Developed Niger Delta Region.
Ogbuku also called on members of IYC to support the NDDC in sustaining peace within the region
