The Executive Secretary of the National Almajiri Commission, Dr. Sani Idris, had said the Federal Government would not relent in sanctioning any person found molesting the Almajiri child in any part of the country.
Dr. Sani Idris disclosed this when he visited an Almajiri child who was allegedly abused, but rescued and is currently receiving treatment at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Dala, Kano.
He added that President Bola Tinubu’s administration would not relent in ensuring that the downtrodden children, the out-of-school children, and the Almajiri children were not molested or maltreated in any way.
The Executive Secretary noted that the Commission would follow up on the case, to ensure that the perpetrator of the act is punished according to the rule of law.
