Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure in rural communities, aiming to enhance business connectivity and economic development.

Governor Sani made this pledge while inaugurating the construction of four roads, totaling 39.8 kilometres, which will connect various agrarian communities across four local government areas in Kaduna State.

The projects include a 13km access road from Turawa to Dinya, passing through Da’a, Kurungupi, and Kadage in Soba Local Government Area, and a 6km asphalt road to be reconstructed from Rafin Guza in Kaduna North LGA, through Hayin Na’iya to Malalin Gabas and Kukumaki in Igabi LGA linking the ongoing Kaduna State University permanent site.

Other projects are a 15-kilometre access road from Kasuwan Magani to Wusar in Kajuru LGA, and a 5.8-kilometre access road from Gwaraji to Wusar, connecting Igabi and Kajuru LGAs.

Governor Sani emphasised his commitment to enhancing socio-economic infrastructure in rural areas by developing roads and drainage networks throughout the local government headquarters.

Governor Sani underscored the project’s importance to his administration’s rural transformation initiative.

While assuring that urban areas will not be neglected in his development drive, Governor Sani said upgrading infrastructure in rural areas is a priority.
