On the second day of the indefinite strike in Cross River State, the Organized Labour has maintained its full compliance, with the leadership of the unions taking charge, as the premises of the State Secretariat and other government offices remained locked.
Labour’s actions have resulted in the closure of Banks and schools, aligning with the nationwide directive issued on Monday.
As the strike persists, residents are grappling with the repercussions, including disruptions to essential services such as the national grid and access to fuel due to the closure of filling stations.
