The National Human Rights Commission has revealed that the country has recorded an increase in killings and kidnappings of individuals from 499 in April to 658 in May, 2024.

This was disclosed at another edition of the National Human Rights Commission monthly dashboard on human rights, calling for the need to put in place more security measures to curb social ills in the country .
