The Kogi State Government says plans are underway to deploy cameras to assist in weeding out criminal elements from the State.
The newly appointed Senior Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Surveillance, Iweha Empire, said this shortly after receiving his appointment letter from the office of the Secretary to the State Government in Lokoja.

Iweha Empire said with the deployment of the new technological devices, criminals making life unbearable for the people will relocate from Kogi State.
Empire reminded the people of kogi state that issues of security can not be left in the hands of government alone.
The Secretary to the State Government, Folashade Arike Ayoade alongside the President General, Igbo Community Kogi State, Sunday Nwachukwu commended the new appointee for starting on a good note.
