Yobe State Government says the state has moved from insurgency to industrialisation as commercial activities are in full swing with the full confidence of residents and assurance of a secured environment from security personnel.
The State Government believes it is making the right approach in stabilising economic activities as well as bringing development to the state.
In Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, life has truly returned to the city which had been one of the centres of the war against insurgency.
Yobe State has transformed into a commercial centre with three main markets for business activities creating an avenue for commerce for farmers and traders in the state.
The construction of a sesame processing centre has also brought relief to farmers. Through its investment in medicine, agriculture and education Yobe State Government believes it is making a sound footing for the future.
Nonetheless, the State Government believes its investment in security and ensuring a peaceful and vibrant state in the North-East would restore confidence of investors in the state.
