The Benue State House of Assembly says it has passed a total of eighteen (18) bills out of the 27 received since inauguration of the 10th Assembly a year ago.
Chairman House Standing Committee on Information, Elias Audu made this known while briefing journalists on the performance of the state assembly in its first legislative session at the State house of assembly in Makurdi the State capital.
Inaugurated on the 5th of June last year the State’s 10th assembly has concluded its first legislative year.

But how have they faired in terms of their primary responsibility of providing quality legislation as well as delivering on their oversight functions which should ensure development to the State.

According to them the 10th assembly under the leadership of the Aondona Dajoh as Speaker has done remarkably well to promote bills for the over all benefit of the people of the State and will continue to sponsor such developmental bills in the coming weeks.
