Abia State command of the Nigeria security and civil defense corps, NSCDC, has deployed over 500 officers and men from various departments, units, divisions, and area commands across the state.to ensure safe and secure celebration of the 2024 Eid-El-Kabir.
The State Commandant, Usman Alfadarai, who addressed journalists in Umuahia says the deployment is aimed at ensuring the general public enjoys the holidays in peace.
Alfadarai says the command has made adequate provisions for personnel to secure critical national assets and infrastructure, recreational parks and centers, strategic facilities, public spaces and places of worship.
He warned criminal elements, particularly vandals, to desist from their illegal activities or face the full wrath of the law.
The Commandant felicitates with Muslims and calls for peace, love, and unity among all citizens.
