Cross River Governor, Professor Ben Ayade says leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State will meet at the appropriate time to determine who his successor will be, urging those with ambitions to bury them for now.
Ayade stated this when he met with the leaders and major stakeholders of the ruling party at the Peregrino Hall, of the Governor’s Lodge in Calabar, the state capital.
The Governor told the party faithful to go back to their wards and local governments to unite their members, assuring that when it is time for politicking, it will be collective and not a one-man decision.

Some of the participants at the stakeholders meeting agreed with the Governor with a promise to go back to the grassroots with the Next Level agenda, industrialization projects, and his community-to-community appointments as marketing tools.
All the major stakeholders from within and outside Cross River State were invited to the meeting which was attended with a call for a continuous meet-the-Governor gathering to set an agenda for 2023.
