President Bola Tinubu has told an audience that his administration will invest in Nigeria’s arts and culture.
The President made the statement at the occasion the play ” Abibatu Mogaji” a play produced in memory of the President’s late mother at the banquet hall of the presidential villa.
He said investing in culture is for the education of children and the benefit of mankind.
He thanked Ola Awakan, the producer for his indepth research, calling him a thoughtful person for coming up with the Idea.
The play ‘Abibatu Mogaji ‘ was written and directed by Prof Ahmed Yerima.
Tinubu’s mother, Abibatu Mogaji, died on 15 June 2013 at the age of 96.
