Head of the National office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) Josiah Dangut has announced that 72.12 percent of candidates who sat for the 2024 West African senior school certificate examination obtained credits and above in a minimum of five subjects including English and Mathematics.

Josiah Dangut who briefed journalists Monday at the WAEC national office in Lagos on the release of 2024 West African Senior School Certificate examinations results said Twenty five thousand, one hundred and twenty six(25,126) recognised secondary schools participated in the examinations this year.
