Former Nigeria’s Vice President and 2023 PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has described the late Emir of Ningi, Yunusa Mohammadu Danyaya, as a courageous and dogged leader, who always tells people the truth, no matter how highly placed.
The former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, said this when he paid a condolence visit to the Ningi Emirate, in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State, North East Nigeria.
As people across the country continue to pay their condolences to the people of Bauchi State, especially the Ningi Local Government Area, over the death of its monarch, the Emir of Ningi, Yunusa Mohammadu, who passed away a few days ago, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was at the Ningi Emirate to condole with the people.

The former Vice President and the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, led a delegation to sympathize and condole with the emirate and the people of the state.
Atiku Abubakar said he is saddened by the death, describing him as a fearless leader, who excels in telling the truth, no matter how bitter, to the people.
Atiku Abubakar called on the people, especially the incoming emir, to emulate his good virtues.

In a related development, the former vice president and his entourage moved to Missau Local Government Area, to also sympathize and attend the funeral prayer for the father of the former Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, SSG, Barrister Ibrahim Dandija, who died in the early hours of Wednesday.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, represented by his Deputy, Mohammed Auwal Jatau, the Waziri of Ningi, Ambassador Ahmed Shu’aibu, as well as the former SSG, Ahmed Salau Dandija, thanked and appreciated the former vice president for his condolence visits.
