The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo has promised to revive Cocoa Beans Processing in the state if elected.
The PDP candidate made the promise during his campaign in Owan West and Owan East Local government areas of the state.
During the campaign in Owan West and Owan East Local government areas in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo urged the people to vote PDP in the September 21 Governorship election and promised to revive Cocoa farming and become the highest producer of the commodity in Nigeria and Africa.
The state governor Godwin Obaseki and the director general of the campaign organization, Matthew Iduoriyekemhen appealed to the people of Owan who gathered in Afuze and Sabongida Ora to resist those seeking backdoor into the government house and vote Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie in the September 21 polls.
The campaign team received new members into the party who all pledged to support Asue Ighodalo and vote PDP in the September 21 Governorship election.
