A yet-to-be-identified decomposing body of a young lady, has been found in a drainage around the popular Federal University of Petroleum Resources, FUPRE, junction axis of the East west Road, in Warri, Delta state.
Ait.live was informed that the body of the deceased, was discovered in the drainage in early hours of Thursday.

A source said that the lady appeared to have been murdered before she was dumped in the drainage, while another said she may have been knocked down by a hit-and-run vehicle.
When contacted, the Delta state Police Command, through its Spokesperson, DSP Edafe Bright, confirmed the incident, but maintained that it was a suspected case of hit and run.
According to the Police, investigation is ongoing, to identify the corpse and the cause of her untimely death.
The Okpe Local Council authorities have already deposited the body at the Oreokpe Central Hospital Morgue.
