Former President Obasanjo Commissions Over 50Km Road Projects In Bauchi state

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has raised concerns over high number of out-of-school children in Northern Nigeria, warning that it is paving the way for a new set of Boko haram insurgents.

The Former President stated this during the Commissioning of Over fifty kilometre Road Projects in Bauchi State, North East Nigeria.

Obasanjo was in Bauchi to perform the inauguration of two important life-touching projects that include the over fifty-kilometre road projects and the official launching of free ear treatment to more than two thousand people in the state.

The Road Projects are the Seventeen point seven kilometre Kano to Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Dual Carriageway, Thirty Kilometre Gubi Gari, Rudu Bida, Nasarawa to Siyi linking the two local government areas of Ganjuwa and Bauchi as well as Seven Kilometre Awala Roundabout to YULI Dual Carriageway.

Obasanjo commended the Bala Mohammed led administration for its Rural and Urban Roads Transformation in the state.

In his own remark, Governor Bala Mohammed said the various developmental projects being witnessed in the state under his administration are part of his working document prepared before he assumed office in 2019 tagged my Bauchi Project.

The Governor urged the people of the state to ensure they take full advantage of the projects for their optimal benefit.

Former President Obasanjo had earlier paid the Emir Of Bauchi Rilwanu Sulaiman a homage.
