Over forty six drums filled with crude oil have been intercepted by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCDC in Port Harcourt.
The NSCDC Rivers state commandant Joachim Okafor who led newsmen and his men to the site at Rukpokwu where the alleged illegal refining activity was taking place, explained that the discovery was made possible through intelligence gathering, and warned perpetrators to desist or face the wrath of the law.

The NSCDC Rivers State Boss Joachim Okafor further affirmed that the seized drums of crude oil will be forfeited to the federal government after thorough investigation.
