One thousand Police Officers and two anti-bomb squads have been deployed from the Delta State Police Command to ensure watertight security before, during after the coronation ceremony of the new Olu of Warri billed to hold this Saturday
State Police Commissioner, Ari Mohammed, who made this public in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, said the deployment is to secure and counter feelers of planned attacks to disrupt the coronation following the brewing of a royal crisis that has raged the succession to the throne since the death of the immediate past Olu of Warri, His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Ikenwoli Emiko.

The statement, while warning mischief makers to steer clear from the ceremony, also said the State Police Command is more than ready to deal decisively with any persons or groups set to prevent a peaceful coronation.
