NYSC vows not to Post Corps Members to conflict areas

The Coordinator of the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, in Kaduna State, Wana Isa, says, the scheme will not post corps members to conflict areas.

Isa disclosed this at the closing ceremony of the 2021 Batch B, stream 1 orientation course, for corps members deployed to Kaduna State.

He urged the corps members not to play truancy while discharging their primary responsibility and to desist from acts, capable of denting the image of the scheme.

Isa enjoined the youths, to interact freely with their host communities, study their culture and tradition, as well as respect their faith, for the unity of the country.

The coordinator said that, permission must be sought from NYSC management, through proper channels, before any corps member can travel.
