Nasarawa state Government says it will continue to accord high premium to the healthcare sector and provide quality healthcare system so as to protect residents in the state.
Governor Abdullahi Sule, who stated this while commissioning a primary healthcare centre and two mosques in Toto local government area of the state said the outbreak of the dreaded Corona virus necessitated the drive in the provision of healthcare services for socio economic development of the state and the country at large.
Sule noted that infrastructure , equipments and personnel at the primary healthcare centres today are in deplorable state and needs pragmatic efforts towards restrengthening the centres for effective service delivery at the grassroots.

Executive Director , National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Faisal Shuaib, emphasized that all hands must be on deck to fight the spread of the new wave of the covid- 19.
Shuaib said the federal government is trying it’s best to ensure primary healthcare centres are built across the country to cater for the health needs of the grassroot people.
