The Action Alliance Party has staged a protest at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, over the exclusion of its candidates from the forthcoming Anambra Governorship Election in November, despite court judgment which recognised the Kenneth Udeze-led faction.
Briefing the media in Abuja, the National Chairman of the party, Kenneth Udeze, urged INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu to urgently absolve the party’s governorship and deputy governorship candidates as the authentic flag bearers for the Anambra poll.

Udeze blamed the National Assembly Committee on INEC for failing to carry out thorough oversight functions in the commission, resulting in the increasing number of the commission’s compromised staff, who are in cohort with desperate politicians to destabilise the nation’s democracy.
There had been valid court judgments recognising the Kenneth Udeze-leadership since 2016 and the electoral umpire was said to have obeyed the order which nullified the illegal suspension and expulsion of Kenneth Udeze from the party.
