The Nigeria’s Super Eagles, are set to grab the three full points from the Central Africa Republic in Sunday’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 African qualifying encounter in Douala Cameroon.
Led by the NFF 2nd Vice President/Chairman LMC, Shehu Dikko, the delegation made up of 23 players, technical officials and backroom staff, NFF Board Members and Management, some parliamentarians, and other stakeholders landed in Douala on Saturday and trained at 2 pm on the Stade Japoma pitch also earmarked for Afcon 2022.

The contingent was earlier met on arrival by the Nigeria High Commissioner to the Republic of Cameroon, Gen. Gabriel Abayomi Olonisakin (rtd), and the Consul-General to Douala, Mrs. Efe A. Clark-Omeru.
The three-time African champions had lost the 1st leg in Lagos 1nil to CAR.
Rwandan Referee Louis Hakizimana has been appointed by Caf for the match in Cameroon.
He will be assisted by compatriots Ambroise Hakizimana (assistant referee 1), Dieudonne Mutuyimana (assistant referee 2) and Jean Claude Ishimwe (fourth official)
while Illou Mahamadou from Niger Republic will serve as match commissioner.
Sunday’s match in Douala will be live on AIT from 2 pm
Nigeria remains top of the Group C of the qualifying campaign at the halfway mark with six points, two more than Cape Verde and Central African Republic, with three-pointer Liberia bottom of the table.
