RMAFC To Announce New Revenue Allocation Formula Soon

Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC,

A new revenue allocation formula and pay packet for political and public office holders in Nigeria will soon be announced.

Chairman of the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC, Mohammed Shehu made this known at a retreat in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital for newly appointed commissioners in the commission.

The men and women whose responsibility it is to determine the revenue sharing formula for all tiers of government of the Nigerian Federation and the pay of political and public office holders.were putting heads together to fine tune the formula

They were in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital for a retreat with the theme :
Understanding The Role Of The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation And Fiscal Commission And Other Stakeholders Agencies In Nation Building.

Chairman of the commission, Mohammed Shehu stated how close the commission is to a new revenue structure and monetary benefits for public office holders.

Shehu charged members to recognize the sensitive nature of their responsibilities and to rise up to the occasion.

Akwa Ibom state Governor, Umo Eno commended President Bola Tinubu for the bold decisions taken which have provided more money to the states and appealed to the commission to help the states get more revenue.

There were messages from representatives of Vice President Kashim Shettima, Nigeria Governors Forum, Attorney General of the Federation and others
