In continuation of the Inspector General of Police welfare schemes, the Niger State Commissioner of Police, CP Adamu Elleman, has presented cheques amounting to over twenty-one million naira, to thirteen family members and next of kins of deceased Police officers under the Group Life Assurance Scheme of the Force, among other benefits.
During the presentation, the Commissioner of Police was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations DCP Falade Michael and the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administrations DCP Aminu Garba.

In a statement by the spokesman of the Police, Superintendent Wasi’u Abiodun, the DCP Operations on behalf of the Commissioner of Police appreciated the IGP for his love and care, in remembering the families and loved ones of departed heroes who died in active service to the nation, urging them to accept the token as a form of succour.
The CP further prayed that God will continue to meet the bereaved at their points of need and prosper them in all they do.
