Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, says his administration remains resolved to combat cultism across the state, despite facing threats and intimidation.
Governor Okpebholo said this while addressing a group of youths who staged a peaceful march to Government House in support of his efforts to rid the state of cult-related activities.

The protesters under the banner of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, marched through major streets in Benin City before arriving at Government House.
They carried placards with various messages of support for Governor Okpebholo’s anti-cultism campaign.

While addressing the crowd at the gate of the Government House, Governor Okpebholo vowed his administration will not retreat in its fight against cultism, regardless of any threats.
He said the state must remain safe and secure for all residents.
