The Nasarawa State Government says it has received the refund of N9.54 billion from the Federal Government for the takeover of the former Lafia Cargo Airport, now renamed Usman Dan Fodio Airport.

Governor Abdullahi Sule said this during a special stakeholders’ meeting held at the Government House in Lafia on Monday.

The Lafia Cargo Airport, now renamed Usman Dan Fodio Airport was commissioned three years ago by former President Muhammadu Buhari, and subsequently taken over by the Federal Government in 2022.
