Irish Ambassador to Nigeria, Peter Ryan, says his home country is ready to partner with the Managers of Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project in the restoration of the polluted environment in Ogoniland.
Ambassador Ryan who said this during a visit to HYPREP headquarters in Port Harcourt, noted that Ireland shares so much in common with Nigeria hence the people are interested in the positive well-being of people living of Nigerians.
The remediation and Ogoni land clean-up exercise is at almost 80 percent completion, has attracted various partnerships from within and the international community
This time, it is the Irish ambassador to Nigeria, peter Ryan, who is seeking partnerships with the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project in the restoration of the polluted environment in Ogoniland.

The ambassador commended HYPREP people centred projects and called for the incorporation of local communities in the development of long-term solutions to the environmental challenges confronting Ogoniland
The hyprep project coordinator, Prof Zabbey Nenibarini, said the visit by the Irish ambassador will motivate him and his team at the commission to continue to do more in the implementation all ogoni clean up projects.
The hyprep boss said the commission is passionate to deliver a sustainable clean up in the region that all a sundry will be proud of
