The Enugu State Government in Southeast Nigeria has taken a major step towards transforming its agricultural and manufacturing sectors.
A new partnership with a private agro-based firm will see to the establishment of an Integrated Modular Organic Liquid Fertilizer Manufacturing plant, alongside other innovative initiatives that also target renewable energy development.
The formalization of the partnership took place on Tuesday with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Office of the Secretary to the Enugu State Government.

Signing on behalf of the government, the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Chidiebere Onyia, who represented Governor Peter Mbah, described the agreement as a bold move towards economic revitalization of the coal city State.
