The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointments of 18 administrators and their supporting members for the Area Administrative Councils, as nominated by Governor Abdullahi Sule.
During plenary, Speaker of the House, Danladi Jatau, announced the confirmation of the nominees after they appeared before the Assembly for screening.
The confirmations came after months of vacancy in the councils, following the expiration of the tenure of the previous administrators.
Jatau said the appointments were necessary to fill the leadership vacuum and ensure smooth governance at the grassroots level.

He also congratulated the newly confirmed administrators on their appointments and encouraged them to discharge their duties with integrity and dedication.
The Speaker further directed the Clerk of the Assembly to officially communicate the House’s resolution to Governor Sule for necessary action.
