The death toll in the Mokwa Flood has risen to 153 as 2 more bodies were recovered from under the collapsed bridge late last night and were buried this morning, June 1.
This is as the search for more bodies enters day 4 after the incident on May 29.


According to the spokesman of the State Emergency Management Agency, NSEMA, Ibrahim Hussaini, the figures of households and people displaced still stand.


Recall that the total number of deaths is 153, injured put at 11, while displaced persons stand at 3,018 with 3 bridges cut off and 503 houses washed away.
