More than two thousand travellers from Lagos have arrived in Osun State aboard the free train service provided by the state government, ahead of the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.
The travellers commended the state government for giving them the opportunity to celebrate Eid-El-Kabir with their loved ones.
Receiving the travellers at Osogbo terminus, Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Bunmi Jenyo, says after observing the growing number of intending travellers, the governor immediately directed that more coaches be added to accommodate everyone so that they can enjoy Sallah with their loved ones.

The initiative, according to Jenyo reflects the administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of its people.
For many passengers, it was a smooth and stress-free journey that saved them money and stress.
The free return trip to Lagos is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
