Scores of people have again been murdered by armed invaders at Yelewata community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
The attacks on Yelewata, a rural town located on the Benue – Nasarawa border, began late Friday and continued into the early hours of Saturday.
Our correspondent reports that in a separate incident, two soldiers were killed in Daudu, another rural town in Guma Local Government Area.

The latest attacks which mark the third assault on Yelewata in one week happened shortly after the Chief of Army Staff’s supposed relocation to address the protracted security breaches in parts of the state.
Member representing Guma 1 State constituency Terwase Uche while visiting the affected communities, expressed deep concern but still encouraged his constituents to remain calm as Government is seeking ways to stop the carnage.
