Cross River State Governor, Bassey Otu, has appointed Linus Obogo as his new Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

A statement released on Tuesday described the appointment as part of the administration’s efforts to strengthen its information machinery for more effective and responsive communication.

Obogo replaces Nsa Gill, who previously held the position.

Obogo becomes the third person to serve as Chief Press Secretary under Governor Otu in less than two years.

The first was Emmanuel Ogbeche, Nsa Gill is now Special Adviser on Public Affairs, where he is expected to deepen the interface between government and the public, ensuring clarity, engagement, and transparency in policy communication.
