Operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Ondo State have arrested the prime suspect linked to the gruesome murder of Nelson Adepoyigi, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ward 5 in Ose Local Government Area.
The suspect was among 31 others paraded at the State Security Network headquarters in Akure.
Recall that Adepoyigi was abducted last month along the Ifon-Owo road while returning from his farm, and was later found dead.
While briefing journalists, Commander of Amotekun corps, Adetunji Adeleye,said the arrested suspect led operatives to the site where the victim’s body was buried.

He also confirmed that several incriminating items were recovered during the investigation.
Others paraded include suspected kidnappers, armed robbers, and members of car theft syndicate, all arrested for violating various laws in the state.
Commander Adeleye assured that all suspects will soon be charged to court for prosecution.
