He Was Travelling With His Younger Brother, André Silva, 26, Who Also Died In The Crash.
Silva Was A Player For Portuguese Second-Division Side Penafiel.


The Fatal Accident Occurred Around 12:30 A.M. Local Time On The A-52 Motorway Near Cernadilla, Zamora.


Reports Indicate That The Vehicle Suffered A Tyre Burst While Overtaking, Skidded Off The Road, And Caught Fire.


The Tragedy Comes Just Two Weeks After Jota Married His Long-Time Partner, Rute Cardoso.
Tributes Have Been Pouring In For Jota, Who Played A Key Role In Liverpool’s Campaign To Secure A Record-Equalling 19th Premier League Title Last Season.


Liverpool Fc Released A Statement Expressing Deep Sorrow Over The Loss, Asking For Privacy For Jota’s Family, Teammates, And Friends As They Grieve.
