The coalition movement of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has reacted to the comments made by Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike during a Media chat on Thursday, where he described the leaders as people who are driven with grievances.

The ADC Coalition Movement’s reaction came through a statement by its spokesperson, Bolaji Abdullahi who said the unveiling of the coalition of opposition political parties seems to have posed a threat to the President Tinubu’s government, prompting the Minister’s comments.

Abdullahi noted that if President Tinubu and his Party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had kept its campaign promises, Nigerians will not be currently facing the untold hardships and there won’t be any need to form a coalition for the 2027 elections.

The spokesperson who was also the former Nigerian Minister of Youths and Sports Development, said it is rather too late in the day to cry, as the coalition movement belongs to the Nigerian people who had been promised renewed hope but seems dissappointed.

He further stated that no amount of tirade against the leaders of the coalition could stem the tide of the movement.
