The wife of the Nigerian President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on key stakeholders in Plateau State to set aside their differences and work together to restore lasting peace to the State.

Her appeal came during a visit to Jos, the State capital as part of the Renewed Hope Initiative, where the First Lady donated relief materials to support vulnerable households.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu said Plateau State has experienced enough bloodshed and urged leaders and citizens alike to focus on rebuilding for peace, progress, and sustainable development.

Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang expressed appreciation to the First Lady for the visit, describing her as a true mother who has continued to stand by the people of the State in difficult times.

Through the Renewed Hope Initiative in collaboration with the ASM Foundation, 1,800 vulnerable households in the State received food items.

In addition to the food items, Senator Remi Tinubu also announced a cash donation of N1bn to further support the most vulnerable citizens in Plateau State.
