Plateau State Police command has dismissed the rumour about a planned bomb attack on the University of Jos community and other parts of Jos metropolis.
The command in a statement signed by its public relations officer, Alfred Alabo said the rumour is unsubstantiated as there is no credible evidence to back it up.

However the Police commissioner Emmanuel Adesina says he has taken proactive measures to prevent any possible attacks on the state and ensure safety of citizens.
