Former Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has described the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari as a deep personal loss, saying he has lost, not just a leader and a boss but a mentor, pillar of support and father figure.
In a statement signed on Monday, Lai Mohammed said tributes accorded the late former President as a rare patriot, a man of unwavering faith and character, an incorruptible leader, truly described his personality.

He recalled that the nearly eight years he served as the spokesman for his government, they shared uncommon bond, trust and confidence to carry on with the task of being the mouth piece of government even in the most difficult times.
Lai mohammed said it was truly a privilege to have known and worked with Buhari and prays Almighty God to forgive all his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah firdaus.
