Osun State Governor, senator. Ademola Adeleke, has disclosed that he derived strength from the support he enjoyed from the people of the state
Gov. Adeleke stated this at the 11th undergraduate and 7th postgraduate convocation of Adeleke University Ede osun State.
Delivering his acceptance speech after he was awarded honorary doctorate degree of science at the 11th undergraduate and 7th postgraduate convocation of Adeleke University, Governor Adeleke reviewed his performance in public service and said public service delivery is the hallmark of responsible leadership
He, however, restated his administration’s focus on service delivery to the people, noting that the people determine who wields political power through their votes
The Adeleke University Pro-chancellor, lamented over the country’s political system, which does not allow people’s votes to count, thereby constituting a stumbling block for investment,
which in turn affects youth employment.
According to the governor, the award would further spur him to do more for the teeming populace, saying the award came at a critical time in the tenure of his administration.
