Suspended Nigerian female Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has officially notified the Inspector-General of Police of her resumption of legislative duties at the National Assembly following a Federal High Court judgment in her favour.

In a letter addressed to the Police Chief and acknowledged by the Force Headquarters’ Department of Finance and Administration, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan referenced the Court ruling, which described her suspension as excessive and outside the constitutional powers of the Senate.

She is scheduled to resume her legislative responsibilities on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025.
